Page 1: Surgical site infection surveillance survey
The aim of this survey is to capture information on barriers and enablers to participation in Surgical Site Infection (SSI) surveillance. You can find out more information about the study and a participant information sheet on the Target Wound Infection website at Target Wound Infection Study | Department of Cardiovascular Sciences | University of Leicester. The findings from this survey will help inform the development of a surveillance implementation strategy and recommendations to optimise participation in SSI surveillance following cardiac surgery.
We are asking the following questions regarding cardiac surgery at your hospital since January 2019. We realise some services may have been suspended during the COVID pandemic – please answer these questions as they would relate to the period prior to temporary changes in service delivery.
This survey will take around 20 minutes to complete.
Please share this invite with colleagues who work in cardiac surgery or wound infection surveillance.
Yours sincerely, Melissa Rochon, on behalf of the Target Wound Infection study
